Returns Policy

Extended Christmas Returns
Purchases made between Tuesday 1st October to Tuesday 24th December 2025 inclusive can be returned for an exchange or refund up to and including Friday 23rd January 2026. T&Cs apply.
Please note that warranty purchased on a monthly plan is EXCLUDED from the extended returns policy. Normal returns policy of 30 days applies.
Clearance Items Policy
Clearance items are final sale. We cannot offer refunds, exchanges or store credit on any clearance items. All clearance sales are final.
Returning Items By Post
You can return items purchased online within 30 days for a refund using the payment method you used to place the order.
We provide FREE return postage for all returns within 30 days of delivery. Simply contact us at support@earringvault.com to request your prepaid return label.
No returns or exchanges are accepted after 30 days (except during the extended Christmas returns period or for faulty items).
Follow these instructions for postal returns:
- Include the original despatch note or a copy inside your parcel
- Highlight or place a tick next to the items you’re returning on the despatch note
- Items must be returned unworn, in pristine condition and in their original presentation box/packaging
- Make sure the package is sealed securely
- All earrings are excluded from returns unless they’re returned unopened and in their original sealed bag
- All personalised items and Create Your Own products are excluded, unless the item is proved faulty or doesn’t match the specifications specified in your order
Items We Cannot Accept For Returns
We’re unable to accept returns for:
- Clearance items (all clearance sales are final)
- Earrings that have been worn or removed from their sealed packaging (for hygiene reasons)
- Personalised or engraved items unless the item is faulty or doesn’t match your order specifications
- Items not in their original condition or packaging
- Items returned after 30 days (except during extended Christmas returns period or for faulty items)
These terms don’t affect your consumer rights.
If Your Item Is Faulty
If your item is faulty or doesn’t match the specifications contained in your order, you should:
- Contact our Customer Services team at support@earringvault.com
- Include photos of the faulty item and your order number
- We’ll arrange a prepaid return label for faulty items (this applies beyond the 30-day returns window)
- Once we receive the item and confirm the fault, we’ll refund the goods
Cooling Off Period
When you order from us online, you’re entitled to a cooling off period when you can return your goods without any penalty. Our cooling off period is 30 days, which includes any statutory cooling off period.
This period starts the day the contract is agreed (when you receive an email from us saying we’ve despatched your order) and ends 30 days after the day following delivery of the goods.
We provide free return postage throughout the entire 30-day period. After 30 days, we cannot accept returns or exchanges except for faulty items.
Certain items are excluded from the cooling off period guarantee, unless we’re at fault. These are personalised or engraved items, pierced earrings that have been opened, and all clearance items.
International Returns
International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and any customs duties. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit. Please allow up to 21 working days for international returns to be processed once received.
Refund Processing Times
Once we receive your returned item:
- We’ll inspect it within 3 working days
- Refunds are processed within 7 working days of inspection
- Your bank may take an additional 3-5 working days to show the refund in your account
- PayPal refunds typically appear within 48 hours
Exchanges
Want to exchange your earrings for a different style? Simply return your item within 30 days using our free prepaid return label and place a new order for your preferred style. This ensures you get your new earrings as quickly as possible.
Exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of delivery. No exchanges are accepted after this period.
Gift Returns
Received earrings as a gift? We’ll offer an exchange for an alternative item or reimburse you with a gift card credited to the cost of the item. Please include the gift receipt or order number with your return.
Gift recipients receive free return postage if returning within 30 days of the original delivery date. No returns or exchanges accepted after 30 days.
